Cipolla Fig Category_Cuttings & Rooted Cuttings Approximately 23" W x 33"Cipolla is a fig with brown to deep purple skin. The skin can have white speckles that usually disappear upon ripening. Cipolla figs can often have a squat shape, but the length of the neck can also depend upon growing conditions. The figs have a red pulp that can drip red honey when ripe. The texture is jammy with a slight seed crunch. Cipolla has an exotic flavor that has been compared to Black Madeira. Some people taste hints of guava or papaya.
