Origins believed to date to the 17th century, located in Libourne suburbs near the Dordogne River. In 1930, negociant Baptiste Mons purchased the property; the estate later lost 8 hectares to cemetery expropriation. In 1997, Alain Raynaud acquired it and transformed the estate, switching to hand harvesting. In September 2008, it was purchased by Bernard Arnault (LVMH) and Albert
