After the success of manufacturing iron casting products in Bahrain which is manufactured in accordance to the British Standard for Iron Casting, the company is expanding the operations to cater for regional and international market.
Grand Cast is committed to produce high quality products in accordance to international standards especially BSI Kitemark and EN 124 European Regulation.
We utilize both Ductile Iron Casting and Grey Iron Casting in our operations,

It is considered the most common type, gray cast iron features a graphite microstructure consisting of many small fractures. It’s called “gray cast iron” because the presence of these small fractures creates the appearance of a gray color.

It is a ferrous alloy with a carbon content higher than 2% approximately, also known as ductile cast iron, nodular cast iron, spheroidal graphite iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron.

Non-ferrous alloys do not contain iron, Common materials are aluminum, brass, copper and titanium. Non-ferrous castings can be made using sand casting process, investment process, or metal mold process including low pressure permanent mold process and high pressure die casting process
Grand Cast Metal factory has the ability to cast for different industrial applications that requires aluminum alloys, copper based (bronze and brass) alloys, Zinc and magnesium alloys, non-ferrous metals are typically used for structural applications because of desirable properties such as low density, higher strength to density ratio, higher conductivity, non-magnetic property or resistance to corrosion.
Aluminum alloys are commonly used in automotive industry for engines, cylinder heads, manifolds. They are also used in food packaging, cooking equipment, frameworks for electronics and appliances, window frames, doors, internal combustion engines.

High manganese steel refers to high alloy steel with a manganese content of more than 10%. High manganese steel is characterized by: the greater the external compressive stress or impact load, it is conducive to the formation of a hardened layer on the surface, so the higher the wear resistance of castings; With the gradual wear of the case hardening layer, new work hardening layer will continue to form under the action of external compressive stress or impact load. Therefore, it is suitable for making wear-resistant spare parts that can withstand the wear of high-impact load materials for a long time. It is widely used in grinding equipment such as metallurgy, mining, building materials, railway, electric power, coal, and so on.
After proper alloying and relevant process measures, the hardness of the whole section can reach more than 58hrc, and the hardness and high wear resistance will be guaranteed in the wear process.
High chromium alloy hammerhead has high hardness and is a high-quality wear-resistant material, which has been widely used in hammer crushers. After heat treatment, the hardness of high chromium cast iron can reach more than 58hrc, the matrix is martensite with high hardness, and the structure contains a large amount of high hardness carbide M7C3. It is considered to be a good wear-resistant material for crusher hammers.

The Kitemark is a UK product and service quality trade mark which is owned and operated by the British Standards Institution (BSI Group).
BS EN 124 2015 is the latest version of the standard for gully tops and manhole tops for vehicular and pedestrian areas, and changes have been made since the previous version of the standard.
Grand Cast has a quality standard commitment to update Kitemark certification schemes, not only to reflect changes to standards, but also to address market dynamics, innovations and trends in order to satisfy the customer needs.
Grand Cast is DIN EN ISO 9001 2015, DIN EN 14001 2015 and DIN EN ISO 45001 Certified by TUV Nord Cert GmbH based in Germany.
These certifications are considered the international standard that conforms to the requirements for a quality management system (QMS) – ISO 9001 and conforming to requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS) – ISO 14001, ISO 45001 is the world’s international standard for occupational health and safety, issued to protect employees and visitors from work-related accidents and diseases.

Class D 400: Road traffic lanes, also pedestrian precincts, car parks and similar paved traffic areas (e.g. freeways parking plots).
Class E 600: Road traffic lanes, also pedestrian precincts, car parks and similar paved traffic areas (e.g. freeways parking plots).
Class F 900: Special areas e.g. aircraft handling areas at civil and military airports.
A15 Manhole Covers are designed for use in areas where there will be no vehicular access.
Specification: These covers are suitable only for pedestrians and cyclists so are often found in pedestrian walkways, gardens and yards. All of our A15 access covers are made to BS EN124 and carry the Kitemark Symbol. Products are made in a square shape with Bituminous paint coating.
